About Jigawa State Radio
Jigawa Radio Corporation is the official radio broadcasting service of Jigawa State, Nigeria, dedicated to providing quality information, education, and entertainment to our listeners.
Established and commissioned on Friday, July 31, 1993, by the first executive Governor of Jigawa state, Barrister Ali Sa'ad Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State Radio has been a trusted source of news and information for the people of Jigawa State and beyond. Our mission is to inform, educate, and entertain our audience while promoting the rich cultural heritage of Jigawa State.
We broadcast in multiple languages including Hausa, English, and other local dialects to ensure that our content is accessible to all residents of the state. Our programming covers a wide range of topics including news, current affairs, culture, education, health, agriculture, and entertainment.
With a team of dedicated professionals, we strive to deliver accurate, balanced, and timely information to our listeners. We also provide a platform for community engagement and dialogue on issues affecting the state and its people.
